Disney’s Golden Oak makes up half of the 10 most expensive Orlando homes sales in 2021

As 2021 comes to an end, we look back upon the year in review for Orlando area. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Golden Oak claimed multiple spots in GrowthSpotter’s top 10 most expensive Orlando home sales in 2021.

Golden Oak is a Disney Resort community located inside Walt Disney World Resort. Many people drive by the community entrance while traveling to Magic Kingdom. It’s incredible to be able to enjoy a luxury home without the need to leave the Disney Resort property. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, Golden Oak is owned and operated by a newly formed Disney subsidiary, Golden Oak Realty.

Golden Oak had the highest number of deals across the top 10 most expensive homes sales in Orlando area for 2021. The most expensive Golden Oak home sold for $7.5 in June and ranks #4 on the list.

According to Orlando Sentinel, “The home has four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Residential building permit documents filed in 2013 show the house was constructed with an exercise room, craft room, office, two garages, a theater room and bar, and a customized golf room. Outside the home has a large courtyard main entry and a pool and spa.”

The remaining Golden Oak homes on the top 10 list sold for $6.45 million, $6.4 million, $6.195 million, and $5.999 million.

Other homes on the list include Shaquille O’Neal’s Isleworth mansion which sold for $11 million as well as PGA legend Payne Stewart’s home which sold for $7.12 million.
