The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recently adjusted its COVID-19 quarantine guidelines. To match this change, Walt Disney World has also changed its quarantine policy for Cast Members.

Any Cast Member that tests positive for Covid-19 will now be required to quarantine for 5 days rather than the previous 10. After the 5 day quarantine, the Cast Member will be required to wear a face mask for 5 days after returning to work.
The CDC is shortening the recommended time for quarantine from 10 days for COVID-19 positive individuals to 5 days, if asymptomatic, followed by 5 days of wearing a mask when around others. The CDC says this change is motivated by science demonstrating that the majority of Covid transmission occurs early in the course of illness, generally in the 1-2 days prior to the onset of symptoms and the 2-3 days after.

The change comes during a time where Orlando is seeing a huge spike in Covid cases. Due to the high number of cases among Cast Members, under the old quarantine guidelines, many Cast Members would be out of work and operations at Disney World would suffer.
