In case you missed the news last night there was a small fire in the Magic Kingdom. Emergency Services were called and reports of a Firetruck and Ambulance were seen going down Main Street USA around 7 pm on Tuesday night.

The small fire was put out immediately with a fire extinguisher and Disney released a statement concerning the Fire in the Magic Kingdom.
Today the Orlando Sentinel shared the news on what caused the small fire prompting EMS to parade down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom.
Jon Shirey of the Reedy Creek Firefighters Association told the Orlando Sentinel that the initial call came in around 6:45 p.m. as there was an electrical fire on a junction box outside of Cinderella’s Castle.
Early reports thought a fire started in Cinderella’s Royal Table but we now know that was untrue.
The only injury that occurred last night was from a Disney Security Guard after inhaling dry chemicals from the fire extinguisher. An unidentified Disney spokesperson later said a cast member was transported from the park for non-emergency treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Though firefighters avoid driving through main areas of Disney’s parks when possible, the nature of the call caused responders to have to drive down the Main Street area of the Magic Kingdom, Shirey added.
The cause of the fire is still pending investigation by the Fire Marshal.
