The photo op is to the right of the gate before entering Animal Kingdom. You’ll step behind a giant border with a big snowflake, an arctic fox, a squirrel, a pheasant, holly, and snowy gusts of wind across the frame. The animals and snowflake give the appearance of being made out of wood, which lends an earthy and natural appearance to the shot. The backdrop is a snowy vista with trees, and in the bottom right-hand corner, at the front, the words “Disney’s Animal Kingdom” feature prominently.

Most of the time, a PhotoPass photographer is present at this location to take your picture and help you figure out some fun poses to do. All you need to do is scan your MagicBand and the photos will go straight to the app on your phone! However, you can always take your own photos if no one is at the photo op when you show up. This gorgeous scene is certainly worth stopping for!
