This morning at 6:20am Hawaii time, Mickey and Minnie and the first guests of the Aulani, a Disney resort and spa, untied a maile lei to make the opening official. Lucky for us our writer Linds was there covering this momentous occasion!
They called in the first 70 families by name and escorted them to their rooms. The resort was open to visitors at 9am to come and see what the Aulani is all about.
Included are the swimming facilities, kids club and lots of Disney magic hidden around by some menehunes- mythical creatures in Hawaiian storytelling.
