Orange County, Florida is no longer requiring vaccinated individuals to wear face masks while indoors. Florida now falls under the CDC’s “moderate” tier for Covid-19 community transmission.

The current CDC guidelines state:
“Unvaccinated people in Orange County, Florida should wear a mask in public, indoor settings. Mask requirements might vary from place to place. Make sure you follow local laws, rules, regulations or guidance. Everyone in Osceola County, Florida should wear a mask in public, indoor settings. Mask requirements might vary from place to place. Make sure you follow local laws, rules, regulations or guidance.”
This change puts Walt Disney World in an odd situation. Most of the Walt Disney World Resort is located in Orange County, Florida, however, some of the resort is in Osceola County, which currently falls under the CDC’s “substantial” tier.
