Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor has reopened in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Guests can participate in this entertaining and interactive comedy show. Now, Disney is looking to hire comedians for the show.

Walt Disney World is looking for “Comedic/Improv Actors who are local to Central Florida”. The position description is as follows: Comedic actors with strong voice characterizations, quick wit, and comedic improv skills. Ability to learn new technology required in the performance of the role.
Disney is looking to fill two roles. Buddy/Betty Boil is a lovable oaf of a monster with the wannabe flair of a stand-up comedian. He “warms up” the audience as they enter the theater. And Marty is the little nephew of Mike Wazowski whose voice reflects his boyish energy, charm and innocence. He has an “eye” for puns.

Requirements for this role include being 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. Candidates should submit readings for both Buddy/Betty Boil and Marty, showcasing different voice characterization styles. Submissions are being accepted through November 26, 2021.
