We have exciting news to share this morning. Just last night a baby white rhino calf was born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This marks the third white rhino calf born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the last 13 months, which is incredible news for this endangered species.

It’s important to give mom Lola and her newborn ample time to nurse and bond backstage, so the calf’s sex and weight might not be known for some time.

The announcement was shared last night on the Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Facebook Page.
