Back on October 1st, 1971 Susan Kroll and her son Bill Kroll were both at the Magic Kingdom to celebrate the opening day of Walt Disney World. They celebrated the occasion by taking a photo in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
This past weekend they decided to recreate that opening day photo for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary once again in front of Cinderella Castle while wearing identical clothes they wore back in 1971.
They even brought the framed photo from the opening of Walt Disney World back in 1971.
What an amazing story to be able to be there for the Grand Opening and again 50 years later.
