Existing Disney World Annual Passholders receive extra theme park reservations & new magnet

The big news this morning is the Walt Disney World Annual Pass sales to begin on September 8th, 2021. Disney is introducing 4 new annual pass options just in time for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration on October 1st. You can read all about the news below.

For those with existing Annual Passes, Disney is giving us some additional benefits starting on September 8th as well. Here are the details:

Thank you to all of our current Annual Passholders for your continued loyalty, passion, and dedication, particularly over the past year and a half. If you are a current Passholder, please know you may continue to use your Annual Pass as you do today – when it is time for you to renew, you will be able to renew into one of our new passes (at a special renewal price). Plus, beginning Sept. 8, 2021, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Plus Annual Passholders will also be able to hold more reservations at a time!

Annual Passholders staying at select Disney Resort or other select hotels are still eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their Resort stay(s), in addition to holding their maximum number of theme park reservations at a time on a rolling basis.

And starting September 8, 2021, select Annual Passes will be able to hold more reservations at a time:

  • Platinum Plus, Platinum and Gold Annual Passes: Up to 5 reservations held at a time
  • Silver: Up to 4 reservations held at a time
