Chapek said both systems helped guests stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also stated that the park pass reservation system will remain in place even after the pandemic is over. We suspected as much since the park pass calendar extends into 2023 already.

Chapek also said that virtual queues will remain in place post-pandemic. Virtual queues are a controversial topic in the Disney fan world. You either love them or hate them. The virtual queue is like an intense form of FastPass. Guests have two times where they can try to get a spot in the virtual queue for select rides and attractions.
