Can you feel that ocean breeze blowing? That’s because Disney’s Polynesian Resort rooms are being reimagined to Moana!
Last year we talked about how the resort was going under refurbishment to make some changes including a retheming to Moana, now we can finally see how these rooms will look like next time you stay there.

As soon as you step into the room you will notice a new color palette inspired by the Pacific ocean like blues, greens and browns. It looks very minimalist and relaxing fore sure.
If you look closely on the walls, you will find patterns and designs details inspired by Moana, see if you can spot the heart of Te Fiti!

The Walt Disney Imagineering department took inspiration from the sandy ocean floor for the tiles and carved details in the vanity area. This goes perfectly with the colorful patterns found around the room bringing a whole new energy to the space.
Art from Moana can also be find around the room, as well as details on the doors that give it that Hawaiian touch.
