More exciting news regarding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! The future EPCOT attraction will have its grand opening in 2021, which makes us excited for next year. However, we are also discovering that the upcoming ride will feature a deleted scene originally made for the Pixar movie.
“What I like in the new attraction is including something that we wanted to get into the film. The sort-of marketplace pavilion structure… based on the old Parisian marketplace. We had a scene like that in the film and it got cut. But now to see that in full-size at EPCOT is amazing! This canopy will provide a transition for us from the more real architecture of Paris to us stepping into the more stylized fantasy architecture of Ratatouille.”
– Pixar’s Harley Jessup, Production Designer of Ratatouille
The family-friendly attraction has you shrink down to the scale of a rat for a culinary adventure with Chef Remy. During each adventure, you’ll race across Gusteau’s kitchen floor aboard special trackless ride vehicles in a thrilling 3D chase.
