Disney fans are getting a first look inside Space 220, the new, highly anticipated, space-themed restaurant coming to Epcot. The restaurant was originally set to open this year but has had its share of construction delays.
Most of the delays were caused by COVID-19 but there was also a broken glass incident. Rumor now is the restaurant will finally open in March next year.
I’m now hearing March 2021 as a possible goal date for Space 220… but that timeline comes with the same footnote I shared back in February: https://t.co/WCJc7uLeLo

Yesterday, at the IAAPA Expo, Disney shared the very first interior photo of the upcoming intergalactic restaurant. Space 220 will let guests feel as if they are dining in space, 220 miles above Earth.
The image above shows two Disney Parks employees taking a look at the huge glass windows that will line the entire restaurant. As guests dine in the restaurant they will be able to see themselves orbiting Earth.
This is the smallest of sneak peeks but we can’t wait for Space 220 to finally open!
