The Holiday season is now in full swing at Disney’s Magic Kingdom! However, seeing a new stage built in front of Cinderella Castle is making guests say “What’s this?” akin to Jack Skeleton.
Many are assuming the stage will be used for the taping of Disney’s annual Holiday special on ABC. The reimagined Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration, set for Friday, December 25. The special is still in the planning process but it’s expected to be a mix of highlights through the years, along with some new elements, per ABC.
So far, there’s been no official confirmation on how the TV Holiday special be “reimagined.” It won’t be the same as previous years due to the need for social distancing and abiding by safety measures.
In the meantime, we’ll keep our eyes on Magic Kingdom to see what Disney has planned for the new stage. The Holiday season is a great time to go to Disney and experience all their seasonal offerings.
