Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright is Ready for an All-Female Led ‘A-Force‘ Movie in the MCU. Since the premiere of Avengers: Endgame and the now iconic scene where Marvel’s fiercest female heroes joined together to get Captain Marvel and the Infinity Gauntlet to safety, fans have been clamoring for an A-Force team up, and even the cast and crew are all for it!

“The A-Force was first introduced to Marvel Comics in May 2015 as a part of Marvel’s “Secret Wars” crossover storyline. The series, created by writers G. Willow Wilson and Marguerite Bennett and artist Jorge Molina, features Marvel’s first all-female team of Avengers. The team first appeared as part of an alternate universe during “Secret Wars” but later reemerged in Marvel’s primary continuity. A-Force was described as being “decidedly feminist” and received favorable reviews from critics.”

While speaking recently with Yahoo! Entertainment, Black Panther’s Letitia Wright (Shuri) was asked about the possibility of an all-female led Marvel Studios movie and she openly shared, “I don’t think we have to fight for it. [Marvel Studios Vice President of Production] Victoria Alonso is very strong about spearheading it, alongside Kevin [Feige]. It’s only a matter of time before they do it.”

Letitia was also asked who she would want to fight alongside if she were to join the cast and she exuberantly stated her top picks would be her Black Panther co-stars Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Basset, and Thor: Ragnarok‘s Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) she also added that they would “Definitely have to have Captain Marvel, definitely,” Wright says.

Though Marvel Studios has made no public plans for an all-female led movie, with the exploration of multiverses and drive for more diverse content for the film studio, there is a heavy chance that an A-Force film could be on its way to the MCU. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Marvel!
