We are hearing word that the all-new Play Pavilion is expected to open in Epcot on July 5th, 2021!
Very few details have been released on Epcot’s Play Pavilion other than this shared by Disney last year.
“This innovative, new pavilion is beyond anything we’ve ever created and is completely unique to Epcot,” said Zach Riddley, portfolio executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “Built on the power of play, it introduces an immersive and interactive ‘city’ where you can explore, create, and interact with some of your favorite Disney characters. This is an experience worthy of our bold vision for Epcot – and another signature element of our transformation.”
While no official word from Disney has been released yet we have it on good authority to expect an opening in July of 2021, which falls in line with the announcement of the Summer of 2021.
We have been steady watching the progress of the Play Pavilion over the past year. We are excited to see what Disney has in store for us!
It will be interesting to see how Disney handles social distancing in this new Epcot Pavilion.
