‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ Filming Shut Down After Production Team Members Test Positive for COVID-19. Recently, the cast and crew of Jurassic World: Dominion returned to finish filming the third film of the Jurassic World trilogy, but just a few weeks into production, filming has gone on hiatus once again. Several undisclosed members of the production team tested positive for COVID-19 after routine testing for the film and subsequently, production has shut down for at least 2 weeks to make sure no one else on the team has contracted the virus. It is currently unknown which cast or crew members were exposed or may have been infected on set as Universal has not publicly shared who tested positive initially.
Director Colin Trevorrow shared the news of the closure with a photo of a dinosaur wearing a face mask via Twitter along with the caption, “Woke up to the news we had a few positive Coronavirus tests on Jurassic World: Dominion,” Trevorrow said in a tweet. “All tested negative shortly after, but due to our safety protocols we’re going to pause for two weeks. Back soon.”

Jurassic World: Dominion will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Isabella Sermon, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neill, The film is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters June 10, 2022.
