Spooky season is getting closer, so in the meantime why not bake some delicious Mickey Mouse Halloween Cupcakes!
They are made of chocolate, decorated with frosting and sprinkles and topped with Oreo cookies that resembles Mickey’s head! Plus they are super easy to make!
This recipe from Disney Family is perfect to spend an afternoon baking while you watch your favorite Halloween movie on Disney+!
INGREDIENTS:
- Chocolate cupcakes
- White frosting
- Purple food dye
- Orange food dye
- Purple sprinkles
- Orange sprinkles
- Brown M&M’s
- Orange M&M’s
- Regular Oreos
- Mini Oreos
DIRECTIONS:
- Set aside pre-made chocolate cupcakes.
- Separate white icing into two bowls.
- Place purple food coloring in one bowl and orange food coloring in the other and stir until the color is fully incorporated.
- Ice the cupcakes.
- Then dip them in colored sugar sprinkles.
- Take a regular Oreo and twist it apart, saving the half with frosting on it and discarding the other half.
- Take a mini Oreo and twist it apart, then place each half on the back side of the big Oreo.
- Once you have created the head, place it onto the back third of the cupcake.
- Place two M&M’s on the front of the cupcake to resemble Mickey’s buttons.
