Yes folks it’s that time again – time for the Chip and Company Disney Week In Review where we bring you a roundup of some of the key news items from the Disney Company. As usual, we will also present a sampling of the views, opinions, and advice from our staff of enthusiastic, talented, and experienced writers (these folks are good). You can find out just how much news and opinion there is on our site by visiting us here. We would also like to ask you to visit our Facebook page and “like” us so that we can reach our goal of 5000 “likes” by the end of July. Now, let’s look at the news:
- Are you traveling to Walt Disney World this Fall? If you read Coming To Disney World Fall of 2011 you will see what will be waiting for you. There is a lot of good information in the article.
- Let’s spend some time at the Disneyland Resort. The New Turnstiles have opened at Disney’s California Adventure and you can read all the details here.
- Still at Disneyland, take a look at the Disneyland Refurbishment Schedule August 2011 to see what will or will not be operating during your visit. We can’t leave Walt Disney World out here so check out the Disney World Refurbishment Schedule August 2011.
- I’m sure a lot of you know that Disneyland celebrated the 56th anniversary of it’s opening on the 17th of July. Check out what happened at the “original” on yet another historic day.
- That didn’t take long – Cars 2 on Blu Ray is now available for pre order. The dates have not been officially been set for the release but you can find out what’s available right here.
- Have you heard of the “Carousel Of PROJECTS”? If you attend the D23 Expo in Anaheim on August 19-21 you can see what’s coming up in the Disney Company’s Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. Attendees will find out exactly what’s in store for Disney in the future – worldwide!!
- Guess what – we’re back at the Disneyland Resort again. Read this article to find out what happens when Disneyland Resort Celebrates Halloween Time 2011 Sept. 16 thru October 31.
- Good news for the television portion of the Disney Company. Check out how Disney/ ABC Television collected 45 Prime Time Emmy nominations. The more the better!!
- O.K. all you Vinylmation fans out there – guess what? See how the Disney Store Ignites Vinylmania with Vinylmation Robots Launching Nationwide.
- We heard it was coming and now it has happened. Lightning McQueen has joined the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The video can be found right here.
- Progress and more progress at Walt Disney World. At the Art Of Animation Resort the topping out ceremony was held which means they can now concentrate on fleshing out the project. The building skeleton is done.
