Despite the setbacks for filming, there’s good news for MCU fans. The Loki series is still set to air on the streaming service by Spring 2021. Of course, this would still depend on how soon the show can resume filming after COVID-19. But it looks like Disney and Marvel Studios are optimistic about the series going back into production soon.
The Loki series follows the character’s misadventures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The show’s production will resume soon. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is also set to start filming again in the next few weeks. Unless the production is further delayed, WandaVision will debut in December 2020 .
Hiddleston’s Loki series has not yet been given an official release date. Tentative release schedules for most of Marvel’s Disney+ shows were previously announced with no official word on if they’ll be delayed or not. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had previously been set to arrive in August of this year, landing between theatrical releases Black Widow and The Eternals. With those films now delayed until November of this year and February of next year respectively it’s unclear if the TV spin-off will follow suit. The current schedule has Loki bookmarked to arrive in Spring 2021. But, a shift in schedule could still happen if the pandemic further delays production.
