Several days ago, Chris recently revealed his beloved Dodger would be going under the knife to get a new hip and admitted it was going to be a “long recovery.” After confirming he would keep his followers up to date on the pup, he revealed his pet had a limp that once went away but recently came back.

Chris Evans cherishes his pet and shares updates on Dodger’s life. It’s a fun way for the Avengers celebrity to bond with his fans. Those who follow the Captain America star on social media know about the bond he shares with his dog. Chris found his rescue pup Dodger while filming the movie Gifted. One of the last scenes they shot took place at a shelter and Evans didn’t realize at first that the dogs weren’t working dogs hired for the scene, but were actually up for adoption.
