Celebrate 25 dedicated years of the Disney Conservation Fund with a special message from Jane Goodall! The Disney Conservation Fund has marked its 25th year today on the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. What an eventful day!
Through these 25 years, the Disney Conservation Fund has directed more than $100 million to protect the magic of nature, supported 600 respected nonprofit organizations, and have helped to protect more than 315 million acres of habitat and 1,000 species globally. (Disney Parks Blog)
All of this amazing work to protect the magic of nature would not be possible without the support of other conservationists across the world! A very important conservationist- world renowned primatologist, Jane Goodall, PhD, DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace- left an inspiring message about the great work of the Disney Conservation Fund. You can watch the message by clicking here or the link below!
We even shared earlier this week all of the fun Earth Day offerings from Disney and friends- one of them being Jane Goodall’s documentary, JANE GOODALL: THE HOPE, premiering tonight at 9/8c on Nat Geo, Nat Geo Wild, and will even be on Disney+ and Hulu!
Happy Earth day, friends! Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard for the Disney Conservation Fund to accomplish so much throughout the past 25 years, and keep up the great work!
