In recent weeks, many celebrities have turned to social media to offer entertainment for children. It’s a wonderful treat for families since people are trying to stay home during this coronavirus pandemic. If we can’t go to the Disney theme parks, then it helps to find new sources of entertainment from home. For instance, actor Josh Gad, who voices Frozen’s Olaf, has been reading bedtime stories to his followers. Now actress Ming-Na Wen joins the action by reading Disney books for children. Nothing beats story-time with a real Disney Princess!
Ming-Na Wen is a true Disney legend. She provided the voice for Mulan in the 1998 animated film. Even though Mulan wasn’t a princess in the movie, the character is recognized by Disney as an official Disney Princess. The actress set up some recognizable Mulan figures in her recent story-time video. She read “A Place for Mulan” for viewers online.
“A Place for Mulan” is a fun picture book for young Disney fans. It’s based on the live action version and tells an all-new story about a young Mulan. It tells a story of Mulan learning calligraphy from her father and exploring her village. It’s a charming story and introduces readers to different type of Mulan story by showing her childhood.
We hope you check out this story and enjoy listening to Ming-Na Wen!
