Since we are all missing Disney during this time, what if we try to recreate some of their special dishes like this Yakisoba Noodles with Pineapple Teriyaki Glaze.
Take a look at the recipe below:
INGREDIENTS:
- Pineapple Glaze
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 3/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 1/4 tbsp fresh garlic minced
- 1 1/4 tbsp fresh ginger minced
- 2 1/4 tbsp cornstarch
- 4 tbsp pineapple juice frozen concentrate
- Yakisoba Noodles
- Yakisoba Noodles
- Shredded red & green cabbage
- Shredded bok cho
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix the brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and ginger in a sauce pot and bring it to boil
- In another bowl mix the cornstarch and pineapple juice and then slowly add to the boiling mixture to thicken
- Let it simmer for 30 minutes
- Strain through a fine mesh strainer
- In a wok saute the shredded red and green cabbage and bok choy
- Then add the Yakisoba noddles and pineapple glaze and mix it all together
