Mark Ruffalo Teases Early Talks About Joining the Cast of Marvel's She-Hulk on Disney+

Mark Ruffalo Teases Early Talks About Joining the Cast of Marvel’s She-Hulk on Disney+. It’s convention season and it’s time for Marvel fans to get excited! Several projects are well underway and it seems Marvel is starting to look towards Phase 5 of the MCU. At least, according to Avengers star, Mark Ruffalo.

Mark Ruffalo took on the part of The Hulk/Bruce Banner from the first Avengers film and has been riding the Marvel wave in style. The activist and actor had some concerns not too long ago about his position as The Hulk/Bruce Banner when he had not heard from Marvel Studios since the press tour and premiere of Avengers: Endgame in 2019. His growing concern seems to have been relieved after he shared the news that Marvel has not forgotten him and is in early talks to join the cast of Marvel Studios She-Hulk live-action series coming to Disney+.

Mark shared this bit of news during C2E2, the biggest comic convention hosted in Chicago, IL each spring. Ruffalo is famous among Marvel fans for revealing spoilers, having even accidentally live streamed the first 7 mins of Thor: Ragnarok during the world premiere! Whoopsie! Which makes total sense for Marvel to keep things hush hush with the actor during his downtime between Marvel projects.

Mark has even confirmed he has been given fake scripts by the Russo Brothers so he could not spoil some of the films. So what role would Bruce Banner play in She-Hulk?

Avid comic book fans know She-Hulk, or better known as Attorney Jennifer Walters (Bruce’s first cousin) got her powers after Bruce Banner came up as the only match for a life saving blood transfusion Jennifer required after loosing too much blood from being shot by a criminal who was trying to stop the work Jennifer was doing on a court case.

Bruce refuses at first until it’s proven he is the only one who can save her and after the transfusion is complete, Jennifer finds herself changing into a similar creature Bruce transforms into, only this time, she gets the hang of things fairly quickly and her intelligence remains in her new found form.

It is currently unknown if Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk/Bruce Banner will merely appear in a cameo style role, reoccurring role, or as main character in the series. Other casting choices and formal storylines have yet to be announced at this time. It is unknown if the series will follow the same script as the comics for Jennifer’s origin story.
