Cinderella Castle to receive royal makeover

Disney World’s Cinderella Castle will be receiving a Royal Makeover in celebration of Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary in 2021!

Cinderella first transformed into a princess 70 years ago this week when the animated classic was released—and ever since, her courage and kindness have been inspiring guests and cast members alike.

  1. I think it will look fantastic!! It’s a very good look for a 50th celebration with the gold! Really “pops” with more vibrant colors!

  2. It looks like they’re just going to update the pink paint and put some gold on there. As long as they can do that at night and not obscure the guests’ view (and ruin their photos) I think it will be a nice update.

  3. The last time they transformed the castle did not go over so well. They should just leave it alone. It is the icon for all of WDW. While this is not as bad as the last time ( remember the castle cake) , people are not going to be happy may lose alot od revenue from cancelled weddings and other events

  4. I like it the way it is just because there is no construction being done on it! It’s a bummer that every time I go there is always work being done when it looks fine!
