New Workshops Coming to Epcot’s Festival of the Arts

You can now experience new workshops at Epcot’s Festival of the Arts!

Epcot’s Festival of the Arts is now offering entertaining and enlightening workshops where you can learn a few amazing techniques every Saturday and Sunday. You can pick up a few tips and tripcks and even take home a homemade souvenir.

Each of these events will be help at the World Showplace Events Pavilion in Epcot. The event will last 1 hour and 15 minutes and will cost $45 per person plus tax. Those 18 and under must have parental permissin to join.

There is limited availability so make sure to call (407) 939-3378 to reserve a spot! Here’s the schedule:

Ink & Paint Animation  – 10am

Learn the history of 2D Cel Animation and paint your own Ink & Paint Cel with a Disney Ink & Paint Artist! A large portion of Disney animation was created with this technique. Each week will feauture a new character.

• Saturday, February 8, 2020 – Pluto

Disney 3D Paper Crafting – 10am

You will enjoy creating your own 3D piece of artwork! Learn how to cut, fold, and add spacers in order to form 3D Disney Shadowbox Art.

Gesture Drawing Basics: “Story Telling Drawings” – 10am

Learn the art of “quick sketching” with the animator who worked on “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, “Mulan”, “Tarzan”, “Lilo & Stitch”, and “Brother Bear”. You will create your own sketch to take home during this workshop.

Animation 101: Flip Book Fundamentals – 10am

Create a moving story and watch your drawings come to life! Tools will be included for this workshop.
