There are few things in this world that people can agree on as readily as fries. Because fries are so beloved, they can be eaten in many different forms. One of those forms is Poutine, the Canadian-born dish that layers fries with gravy and cheese curds. Walt Disney World has more than one location that offers Poutine, including The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs. They have just concocted a whole new recipe that will have us eating fries like never before.
Though coming up with inventive forms of Poutine is no new task for the creative minds at The Daily Poutine (other favorites have included Cheeseburger Poutine and Italian Poutine), every now and again the combination just makes sense. This is the case for the new Oktoberfest Poutine. It starts off with the traditional fries, cheese curds, and gravy, but is topped with our German favorites: Bratwurst and Sauerkraut. Sausage and fries together? Yes, please! But be prepared; Poutine is typically a filling dish already between the hot fries and cheese curds, so adding on meat might mean you need to add on a snacking buddy too!
Either way, this could be the snack/meal that surprises you this fall. Although at $9.99 it isn’t the cheapest option, it’s a savory and filling choice for the potato fan in all of us. It’s a great seasonal treat to keep you energized as you shop at Disney Springs, but it won’t be around forever so get it now!
