The Disney Cruise Line has begun to drop off supplies to victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas this Wednesday. The Disney Dream left food & water at Castaway Cay with Cast Members who will deliver the supplies to the people of Abacos.
This is on top of the $1 million dollars the committed to earlier this week!
The Disney Fantasy which also visits Castaway Cay will drop off more food & water when they visit Castaway Cay today.
“The Walt Disney Company stands with the people of The Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian,” said Robert A. Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “We hope our $1 million donation will provide much-needed relief and help our neighbors, colleagues, and all those impacted by this devastating storm begin the long process of recovery as they work to put their lives and communities back together.”
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those in the Bahamas who lost everything…
