It is now official, Avengers Endgame has just surpassed Avatar becoming the Highest-Grossing Movie of All Time!
Avatar has held the box office record for nearly a decade and Avengers Endgame finally took the crown after 3 months.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed the news as he took the stage at San Diego Comic-Con to announce the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming slate of Movies and Disney+ TV Shows.
The official numbers have not been released yet but the record was set at $2.789.7 billion at the worldwide box office.
