If you are planning a trip to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in the near future, be aware that the parking lot is currently closed for guests without reservations.
Guests of the resort will need to have a room and/or formal dining reservation in order to make use of the lot. If you have a reservation for the equestrian activities, you will also be permitted to use the lot.
For guests interested in the campfire, quick serving dining locations, dinner show, or the marina, the Walt Disney World Transportation system will be available for your convenience.
At most neighboring resorts, if parking is available, you are still able to enjoy the resort’s events and select dining for a small window of time without paying parking fees. If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you are also exempt from these fees as well. If you are planning on staying overnight using your own vehicle, the charge will depend on what resort you are staying at. For value resorts like Disney’s Pop Century Resort, the fee is $13 per night. For moderate resorts such as the Caribbean Beach Resort, the fee is $19 a night. Lastly, for Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts like the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the overnight parking fee is $24. Whether your Walt Disney World resort stay is just for the day or for a more lengthy vacation, check with your specific resort about their parking specifications.
