According to an article on the OC Register Disney is starting to crack down on personal shoppers at the Disneyland Resort by revoking their annual passes.
Many personal shoppers will go to the parks to get new or hot items and sell them in Facebook Groups, Websites and even on Ebay, many times with inflated prices.
While there are many legit sites out there that are just looking to help fans get items they can’t pick up on ShopDisney or in the parks there is also those work the system and infuriate other guests by buying up all the stock of certain items (using their AP Discount too) and I have heard turn around and sell those items to people at the back of the line with a big markup.
Park Rules and Annual Pass Terms and Conditions are in place to help protect the experience for all of our Guests, according to a statement issued by Disney.
No word if this will be rolling out to Walt Disney World…
