Land is Being Cleared at Future Site of Star Wars Resort Coming to Walt Disney World

As we reported last month, a notice of commencement was filed for work to begin on the future site of the Star Wars Resort coming to Walt Disney World. After making a stop at Hollywood Studios this past weekend, we are happy to report that trees are being removed and land is being cleared for construction to begin on the much-anticipated resort.

The Star Wars Resort will be located just to the right of the new Hollywood Studios entrance that is also currently under construction. The new entrance will be located on the corner of Osceola Parkway and Victory Way.

An official opening date for the Star Wars Resort has not been announced yet but we do know that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World will be opening late fall of next year!
