“Do Not Disturb” Signs Removed From Disneyland and Aulani Resort Rooms

As we reported last month, “Do Not Disturb” signs were removed from several Walt Disney World Resort rooms and replaced with “Room Occupied” signs. In addition to the new signs, a new policy was implemented at these Resorts stating that a Cast Member can enter your room at least every 24 hours without cause. We can confirm the signs and policy have been adopted by Disneyland in California and Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa In Hawaii.

While Disney has not officially commented on the new signs and policy, one can imagine that the change is a new security measure in response to the tragedy in Las Vegas this past October. Several other hotel chains are also in the process of adopting this policy.
