According to a piece this morning on wdwinfo.com, the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot, will be offering new Coco-inspired entertainment throughout the Holiday Season.
A new Mariachi band dubbed El Mariachi Coco de Santa Cecilia, which takes its inspiration from the new Disney•Pixar film as well as the celebration of Día del los Muertos, will be performing regularly at the Pavilion beginning on November 22, 2017 (the opening night of Coco) through until January 6, 2018.
The band takes its name from the town of Santa Cecilia which is the setting for the film and is expected to perform songs from the movie at the Mexico Pavilion’s character greeting location (where you usually find Donald Duck). During this time Donald will greet guests inside the Pavilion’s pyramid.
This is just one of the many new Coco-related offerings you’ll find around Walt Disney World in the weeks ahead. Readers are encouraged to keep following along with Chip and Co. for the latest in Coco-related news and updates.
