For those planning on spending the Thanksgiving holiday at Walt Disney World, don’t worry if you haven’t already made those advanced dining reservations. Disney announced this week that a handful of eateries will be serving up delectable Thanksgiving staples like turkey, mashed potatoes and the works. So if you’re hard pressed for a dining location, give one of these impressive eateries a try.
Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe – Magic Kingdom – Walt Disney World: For those looking for a Thanksgiving meal easy on the budget, Pecos Bill’s in Frontierland is definitely the place to be. They are going to be serving up a hearty feast including turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and gravy.
Satu’li Canteen- Animal Kingdom – Walt Disney World – For an out-of-this-world Thanksgiving experience, head on over to Pandora- The World of Avatar. The Na’vi have created their own version of a traditional turkey supper that includes wood grilled-roasted turkey breast with gravy, apple and sage stuffing, green beans, orange marmalade, glazed sweet potatoes with candied pecans, and mashed potatoes with cranberry boba pearls. The meal is available in both adult and kids’ portion. They’re also serving up a delicious pumpkin cheesecake mousse for dessert.
Sunshine Seasons – Epcot – Walt Disney World: This much-loved Epcot Quick Service eatery found in The Land Pavilion (same place as Soarin’) will also be serving a Quick Service Thanksgiving plate for lunch and dinner consisting of turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and cranberry sauce.
Morimoto Asia – Disney Springs – Walt Disney World – For a Pan Asian twist on Thanksgiving classics head over to Morimoto’s where they’ll be serving up a special Peking Duck Turkey Dinner served with roasted pork fried rice “stuffing”, Japanese-style candied yams, cranberry-lichi chutney and Szechuan peppercorn gravy.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ – Disney Springs – Walt Disney World – For a more traditional Disney Springs Turkey Dinner, on Thanksgiving Day only, Art Smith’s will be offering a roast turkey special. Through the month of December, they will also have on offer their delicious seasonal dessert, a pumpkin bread pudding served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
French Market Restaurant – Disneyland – Moving over to the West Coast, French Market will be offering up slow-roasted turkey breast with apricot stuffing, market mashed potatoes, home-style gravy, seasonal vegetables and cranberry relish topped with a 5″ pumpkin pie for dessert!
Flo’s V8 Cafe -Disney California Adventure Park – Disneyland- Next door at California Adventure, Flo’s will be have rotisserie-roast turkey breast with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, seasonal vegetables and orange-cranberry sauce on its menu.
So whether you’re spending your Thanksgiving holiday with the West Coast Mouse or looking for a quick and fun way to ring in the holiday at Walt Disney World resort, you’ll definitely want to give one of these fun, festive eateries a try.
