Recently Disney has made a BIG change to the breakfast menu at the Kona Cafe inside Disney’s Polynesian Village. According to the Dis the menu went into effect over the weekend and guests are not happy!
Disney has pulled 2 popular breakfast choices off the menu, The Big Kahuna (pictured above) and the Samoan.
Not to worry fans the Tonga Toast is safe… for now. 😉
But seriously many fans including myself love the Big Kahuna. It comes with Eggs, French Toast, Pankcakes with Macadamia Nut Butter, Pineapple Sauce, and Ham, Bacon, Sausage, and potatoes. It was a great sampler that 2 people could easily share. I have never had the Samoan which is basically eggs benedict with pulled pork on top.
So are you sad to see these 2 items go?

please remember, if you want to contact Disney about these concerns/complaints, it’s easy to do. Leon, have your wife tell her friends to use https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/help/email/ to let WDW they’re not happy! The more people who contact them, the more likely it is they’ll change. They were going to kill Early Entry entirely several years ago. I helped start a campaign and they brought it back as EMH, including evenings! Good luck.
LOVE the Big Kahuna!!!! Hate that it’s being removed from the menu
Noooo! The Samoan was so good! I will definitely say something on the survey they send out.
My wife eats the Samoan every time we go. She is calling all her Disney Friends to set up a protest next time we go. Please put it back so I can live with her in peace.
