Blu Ray Review: I Am Number Four

Blu Ray Review: I Am Number Four

I Am Number Four is a sci-fi thriller based around a nameless main character played by Alex Pettyfer.  Although referred to as John Smith for most of the film it is made clear to viewers right away that he has been on the run for quite some time.

A coming-of-age story of a boy with supernatural powers from another planet, we get to see John come to grips with his legacy and what it means that there are interplanetary enemies trying to track down and kill the final nine members of his race.  Mix into it the storyline that John falls for a girl he meets in Paradise, Ohio and will do anything to protect his newfound love (played by Glee’s Dianna Argon).

I Am Number Four plays out like part superhero movie, part action adventure, and part love story… sure to entertain everyone!

The Blu Ray combo pack comes with not just two Blueray Discs but also a DVD and digital copy of the film.

You will also find deleted scenes, a blooper reel, and a featurette “Becoming Number Six”.  The combo pack extras offer a nice breadth of features especially considering right now sellers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart are listing it at around $25 for the release Tuesday May 24, 2011.

Pre-order your copy today and let the adventure begin!!
