Hey there ladies and gents your friendly gossip spreader columnist Anonymouse here. Today I want to discuss some very interesting news that is coming out of Walt Disney World.
Before you ask yes that title is correct. The newly burned refurbished Enchanted Tiki Room will soon be under Old Management. News broke on Sunday at the D23 event that the Enchanted Tiki Room will reopen this summer at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, minus the “new management” piece of the attraction. Everyone Cheer!!!
Disney reps stated that the ride will be restored to a version similar to the way it was when it first opened in 1971.
If you remember last year a fire erupted in the attic of the attraction, setting the sprinkler system off on guests who were sleeping watching the show. Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading beyond the attic area, but the Enchanted Tiki Room has been closed ever since.
So what do you think about this? Were you one of those people who liked the New Management or are you a purist who preferred the Old Management?

I remember the old version from my childhood & it was fun but could use a bit of updating, so I hope they address that. And anytime you can remove Gilbert Gottfried’s voice from anything, it’s a step in the right direction.
I don’t even remember the old version, but I liked the new one — I guess I’m in the minority here.
While only seeing footage of the Old one I new one was really bad
I am jumping for joy. I Loved Old Management. Soo many child hood memories and wasn’t that bad. I never could bring myself to go in the new one. I had listened to the recording on Mouseworld radio. and disliked it so much that everytime it comes on I have to turn down the volume. Can’t wait. Woo hooo
I am thrilled! I hated the new management version. My only disappointment is that the refurbished one wasn’t open on our trip a couple months ago.
Love them both cant wai!!!
