The Disney Jr Play ‘n Dine has been a staple of the Hollywood and Vine Restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for quite some time, and is considered a great place to grab a character breakfast or lunch with your toddler’s favorite Disney Jr Characters. However, that is about to change. We hear from WDW Magic that starting May 14th of this year, the Disney Jr. Play n Dine lunch is going to be replaced with Minnie’s Seasonal Dine, which currently holds the Dinner time slot at Hollywood and Vine.
Guests will still be able to catch up with Sofia, Doc McStuffins, Jake, and Handy Manny at the breakfast seating, but Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy will now appear at lunchtime, with their attire based on the season of the time, just like the dinner seating. You can still meet some of these characters around the meet and greet areas outside the Disney Jr Live on Stage Location as well.
Disney’s website has not shown any changes to the Hollywood and Vine reservation page; it still states that Disney Jr is the lunch experience, but WDW Magic says that Reservations for the new lunchtime Minnie’s Seasonal Dine can be made starting February 1st. You’ll have to let us know if you can get a reservation for the lunch!
