New Balance runDisney 2017 Shoes Have Been Revealed!

The New Balance runDisney 2017 shoes have been revealed, and the new theme is Disney Parks Attractions! The four shoes are each inspired by a beloved attraction from the Disney Parks, there is Space Mountain, Toy Story Mania, Mad Tea Party, and Haunted Mansion!

There are two different shoe styles available, the Toy Story Mania and the Mad Tea Party are a 88ov6, and the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain are a Vazee Pace v2 style.

Haunted Mansion Shoe– Vazee Pace v2.

The Haunted Mansion is a cushioned running shoe that features the iconic purple and grey hues of the cult classic ride. There is a subtle hint of the infamous wallpaper design around the toe box.

Space Mountain Shoe– Vazee Pace v2

The most vivid memory I have of Space Mountain is captured perfectly in this cushioned running shoe. The “light speed” you see as you blast off into the pitch blackness streams across the entire shoe. These are a deep bluish color that gradients into a deeper indigo, and I think they positively SCREAM (because that’s what I do on this ride) Space Mountain!

Toy Story Mania– 880v6

The Toy Story Mania shoe is a 880v6, which is a very lightweight running shoe. The colors on this are a bright Orange, and blue, with hints of red. Although I do love them, I’m not quite sure this one shouts Howdy Partner I’m Toy Story Mania, as well as the other shoes in the collection proclaim their rides. They remind me a bit of the Goofy Ones from a few collections ago.

Mad Tea Party– 880v6

The Mad Tea Party is another lightweight 880v6 shoe. This shoe has the vivid aqua and purple that decorate the spinning tea cups on the ride. The finishing touch is the delicate swirls from the tea cups hidden within the aqua “N” of the shoe.

New Balance is the official running shoe of runDisney. The website doesn’t say if the 2017 collection will be available at the Super Heroes Marathon Weekend, but maybe we’ll get lucky!
