Earlier this morning a small fire started in the basement of the Disneyland Hotel in California.
The fire department was called about at 5:45 am to put out a fire that seems to have been caused by a malfunctioning machine that contained oil, which led to a lot of smoke.
The smoke traveled through the building and vents even-though the fire was quickly extinguished the smoke filled the first 3 floors of the resort and guests were quickly evacuated.
According to Anaheim Police Sgt. Daron Wyatt there was one firefighter who was treated for slight smoke inhalation and there were no other injuries reported.
Guests were allowed to reenter the resort within an hour and a half and everyone was safely back in their rooms by 8:00am.
We are glad there were no serious injuries to report.
