Disney Cruise Line Dominates the Seas! Voted Best Cruise Line for Families 2014

dcl

Disney Cruise Line has been voted Best Cruise Line for Families 2014 for the second year running by the Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards. The awards are chosen by Cruise Critic’s international team of editors, based on the lines and ships they feel best represent excellence in each categories.  Disney winning the Best Cruise Line for Families award is no surprise, no one does family like Disney does family. It is a market they completely dominate and deservingly so.  The attention to detail, the unparalleled customer service and the focus on each member of the family onboard each and every Disney ship is a guarantee.

From the Disney Dream, to the Wonder, to the Fantasy and the Magic, these ships have it all and more.  Each ship has  onboard spas, nurseries for the little ones, kids’ clubs, designated teen lounges, adult only restaurants and pools, kiddie pools, splash areas, theaters, waterslides, watercoasters, a water thrill ride called the “aquaduck,” various themed restaurants, fine dining, extensive wine lists, themed family fun nights such as the Pirate Night Deck Party, new release movies, one of a kind Disney stage productions, gift shops, character greetings, fitness centers, and shore excursions.  Add to that the four complimentary wave phones in each cabin, the spacious and luxurious staterooms, the rotational dining (different restaurant experiences each night with the same wait staff following you), the privately owned Disney island, Castaway Cay, with its own water slide, rentable private cabanas, snorkeling, entertainment and more!

There’s an abundance of amenities and features unique to each ship, which is a wonderful excuse to cruise them all.The itineraries and destinations are every bit as amazing as the ships are. The roster includes- the Bahamas, Western Caribbean,  Alaska, the California Coast, Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico.  Disney Cruise lines also offer unique repositioning cruises across the Atlantic. The most intriguing repositioning cruise is the one that crosses the Panama Canal.  Could you imaging sipping coffee while seated on your own private verandah, gazing at the engineering marvel that is the Panama Canal?

It’s a once in a lifetime type trip, made perfect with the Disney touch. The only thing that’s better than a Disney Cruise is a Disney “Land and Sea” package which combines a Disney Cruise with a trip to Walt Disney World!
