Disney World at Christmastime is amazing – the music, the food, the entertainment, the snow (fake snow – but still counts in my book!), and the décor all add up to an experience that is not to be missed! Check out our Photo Tour of the Magic Kingdom from this year!
I have to say – the decorations are not only beautiful, but inspiring too – in fact, these wreaths have inspired me to do some research on how I can create my own Disney inspired wreath at home! Here’s some ideas I hope you can use this holiday season in your own house:
Check out this easy project that your kids can help with – an Olaf wreath (Courtesy of You Brew My Tea). Frozen is so hot right now, that I’m pretty sure most any kid would jump at the chance to help make this adorable decoration!
Looking for a use for all that construction paper you have lying around? Then how about you whip up a few of these adorable Mickey Paper Wreaths (Courtesy of Dolled Up Design). I especially love the use of the red pom poms shaped to look like Mickey’s head! The writer made one for each of her children, but you can do one for each family member, or just one to hang on the front door! I also think they would be adorable with little black construction paper Mickey hats with each person’s name on them, wouldn’t they?
Buy yourself a bunch of ornaments from the dollar store and make a wreath like this one, using this tutorial which is for a standard wreath but can be easily changed to include one large and two small wreaths that you can attach using wire to make that Mickey shape!
Or keep it easy and purchase one large and two small green wreaths from any craft store and attach them together using wire, and then use that same wire to “hang” your favorite Disney ornaments from it like a Christmas tree
For those of you who don’t celebrate Christmas, but still want to craft yourself a Disney wreath – you can make a Disney Countdown Wreath (Courtesy of Willow Bee) so that you can keep track of just how many days away from your next magical Disney Trip you are (hopefully it’s not very many – it’s a hard thing to wait for, isn’t it?)
Or you can purchase tons of different premade Disney wreaths via etsy if you aren’t too crafty – and no matter how you do it, a Disney wreath is a great addition to any and every Disney lover’s door! It would also make a great homemade gift for that Disney lover in your life!
