Star Wars Trilology

Star Wars fans have long been asking for Disney to re-release unedited versions of the Star Wars Trilogy. Well you requests have been granted according to Comicbook.com this plan is now under way and will soon become a reality.

Disney also has plans to release the original version of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu-ray. They want to release A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of Jedi in their complete, unaltered, original form without the redone special edition SFX.

An exact release date is unknown right now but it has been said that they want to have it done and released before Star Wars Episode VII is released in theaters.

  1. This is still rumor and probably will not happen. First thing to know in the star wars world is unless lucasfilm confirms it then it is not true

  2. The Mouse is known for one thing. . Giving the people what they want, and SW fans have been clamoring for that for years… Lucas refused.. Way to go Disney!!
