Disney Maternity Clothes – DIY And Where To Buy

MaternityCollage

Anyone who is or has been pregnant can attest to the fact that maternity clothes, while they have come a LONG way in recent years – are not always the most fashionable or cute things on the planet. It’s hard to look and feel cute when you’re feeling tired, bloated, and spending 90% emptying your bladder…and it’s also harder to enjoy a trip to Walt Disney World – considering there are a lot of rides you can’t ride while pregnant. But there are a few things you CAN do – you can see all the great shows and ride some of the milder rides (check out which ones are safe Here, and you can shop till you drop of course, and you can arrive at the Parks looking adorably pregnant too, with these great Disney Maternity Clothes ideas:

DYI Disney Maternity Clothes: So there really aren’t many (aka there really aren’t any) stores that carry Disney themed apparel for moms-to-be, which means you might have to get creative – if you’re good with a sewing machine you can embroider something – like the Christmas or Mouseketeer themed ones pictured above, or you can rely on my personal favorite – the Iron-on transfer – where you can take virtually any design or picture, print it out, and iron it onto a maternity shirt to show your Disney side! Or – you can always infuse a little humor into your creation and make your man something to wear too (like I did with my husband!)

IronOn

Iron-ons are super easy to use, and with just a little imagination you can create shirts showing your excitement for the new addition for the whole family!

Buying Disney Maternity Clothes: Ok, so maybe you aren’t the most crafty, or you don’t have time to create your own Disney maternity clothes – no worries, as the magic of the internet is here to save you! Etsy.com and CafePress.com both offer plenty of options – any many that can be customized to fit your exact visions. Order the adorable Mickey Bar Ice Cream shirt pictured above here – it would be perfect to wear to the Parks (not to mention the perfect excuse to stay cool with plenty of Mickey Bars and ice cream sundaes!)
