The summer months and two weeks of December (and two weeks of April for spring break…and all other holidays and Saturdays) make me realize how reliant I am on my Disneyland annual pass. When I’m blocked out, I actually have to put effort into thinking up new activities to do. (New Year’s Eve is proving to be a tough one.) Blasphemy!
I guess having an annual pass for a while makes you kind of spoiled. It’s always my go-to place for some fun and relaxation time. I should probably ask for permission to set up a cot backstage somewhere because I’m there so often. I might as well live there, right? I can live off of the bakery items that don’t sell. (Please?)
But really, I have been going crazy during my winter break because I don’t have Disneyland. I now see how often I really am at the park (and how I’m definitely getting my money’s worth). Disneyland is a very big part of my life — lots of memories from my childhood, great times with friends and family, and my first kiss with my boyfriend on Thunder Mountain.
Obsessed? Maybe. In love? Definitely. Say what you will, but I love me some Disneyland.
