Disney Channel finally announced a premiere date for the much anticipated “Boy Meets World” spin-off, “Girl Meets World“. The big day is Friday, June 27.
It will air on the network at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT. The network will start things off early by making the premiere episode available to verified viewers on WATCH Disney Channel, which is its streaming site, starting May 21.
“Girl Meets World” will have a regular time slot at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT beginning July 11.
ABC’s popular sitcom “Boy Meets World” aired from 1993 through 2000 as part of the network’s popular TGIF segment. Who doesn’t remember Cory and Topanga?
Now the infamous Cory and Topanga are the parents of their very own teenager daughter named Riley (Rowan Blanchard), who the new show is now centered around.
You will see some old favorites like, William Daniels (Mr. Feeny), Rider Strong (Cory BFF Shawn Hunter), William Russ and Betsy Randle (Cory’s parents), Lee Norris (Minkus!) and Danny McNulty (Harley Keiner). How cool is that?
Disney Channel’s original movie “Zapped” will air before “Girl Meets World” makes it’s big debut.
