Ed Fouché announced his retirement from The Walt Disney Company. He is the Senior Vice President of Travel Industry Sales and Americas for Disney Destinations, including Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures By Disney, and Aulani.
He has long been a champion of the travel industry and served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Visit Florida. Florida Governor Rick Scott presented Ed with the Business Ambassador Award for his significant impact on the travel and tourism industry.
Below is his letter:
Dear Travel Industry Colleagues,
The decision to retire is bittersweet. It comes with great anticipation for what lies ahead, but also with quite a bit of nostalgia for what we leave behind. So, it’s with that mix of emotions that I announce my retirement this week after working for The Walt Disney Company for 25 years.
The word “grateful” doesn’t begin to cover how fortunate I feel to have been part of this company, and to have shared this time with all of you. You represent the industry’s most exceptional talent, and it has been a true pleasure working alongside you. You are in good hands with the Disney team, and I look toward a great future for our industry, and for Disney Destinations.
I am excited about the future, I am grateful for the past, and I am humbled by the people I met along the way – including all of you.
Best Regards,
Ed Fouché
We wish him the best.
Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust
